For best results with your carnivorous plants, we recommend using distilled or rain water, as other water types can prove fatal to the plants. Carnivorous plants thrive in moist, "boggy" environments, so you may want to consider bottom-watering your potted plants. When initially using the soil, it's best to thoroughly moisten the mix until completely soggy before planting.
